Mixed media piece- pencils, watercolors, Sticker Sprays, and Oils. Done quickly and loose. I moved Blend Modes around at the end to explore the composition, as well as duplicating layers to move them around or strengthen color schemes.

Artrage watercolors and palette knife, with sticker sprays for texture. Done abstractly, with no preconceived notion of composition, in about an hour. Discovered the bridge as I went.

A speedpaint, done in about 45 minutes. Did a sketch from a photo I took, which I used as a reference for composition. Used 5 or 6 layers, and some good sticker sprays from Someonesane's Flat Sponges collection for some effects.

Did this in about 4 hours. Used some texture Overlays- one for the background and one for the Orchids themselves- to add some grit, and a lot of layers for blending.

Some time period as Watercolor Abstract 1, and so I also used a lot of stencils. I often find I move into these when I'm experiencing road blocks. It's fun, and images kind of are born from them without planning. Fun!

Wet watercolors and airbrush under a layer of pencil work added later. Started with just the washes, totally independent from composition, then drew the barn afterwords. Did some dry washes of additional color afterwards to darken the shadows. Total time- about 3 hours.

This is a study of a nude figure done by Wendy Artin, a wonderful watercolor artist. Done in 3.5, using the watercolor tools- blenders, a few layers, and round textures for dry brush details. Took about 1.5-2 hours.
