All oils on my iPad. I also used a pallette layer with a blue, black, grey, and orange from the picker, then mixed them with the pallette knife. It was a welcome relief to having to pick my colors from the picker every time.

The lines were actually drawn with the oil brush. At this level of detail it was difficult to get little dots because the tool wouldn't cooperate. I thought they turned out pretty well for someone who has very little experience with figure drawing.

When I was in Brazil for this scene I decided to do some sketches of waves. The waves on this beach are very interesting and don't really seem to break like you'd think they break. The waves I spent a great deal of time on. I think that shows.
